 Ingredients

  • 60ml light rum (also gold rum, but avoid dark rum, as it’s too heavy)
  • Juice of 1/2 a lime
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Sea salt flakes

 Method

  1. Add the lime juice and sugar to your cocktail shaker and stir to dissolve all the sugar.
  2. Add the rum, then top the shaker with ice.
  3. Take your chilled cocktail glass and dip the rim in salt.
  4. Shake the cocktail well for at least 10 seconds, then strain into the glass.
  5. Garnish with a lime wedge and serve immediately.
